I am an experienced lawyer specializing in private equity, M&A, and venture capital transactions, with a deep passion for the intricacies of law and the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.
My legal career began with my undergraduate education at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, where I delved into the complexities of intellectual property and competition law, graduating in 2013 with the First German State Exam. My curiosity and drive for excellence led me to the University of Nottingham in the UK, where I completed my LL.M. From 2013 to 2018, I embarked on a challenging yet fulfilling journey to complete my PhD at the University of Bayreuth. My dissertation explored the intersection of 3D printing with copyright and patent law, a topic that resonated with my interest in emerging technologies and their legal implications.
My career path then took me to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Frankfurt, Germany, where I first worked as a law clerk and later completed my legal traineeship, including a stint in New York City focusing on IP litigation. During this time, I honed my skills in corporate law and M&A, providing a solid foundation for my future endeavors. In April 2019, I officially joined Skadden as a lawyer specializing in corporate and M&A law.
Seeking new challenges and broader horizons, I joined Latham & Watkins LLP in October 2020. Here, my expertise in private equity, M&A, and venture capital came to the fore. I advised several prominent clients, including Avenir Growth, Bregal, DBAG, DEDIQ, EG Group, Hg, OneTrust, and Patient Square Capital, on various significant transactions.
What excites me most about my role as Legal Counsel at 10x Founders is the blend of law and entrepreneurship.
Away from the office, I'm an avid sports enthusiast, including yoga, tennis, cycling and skiing. My love of cooking and baking is matched only by my passion for traveling, experiencing new cultures, and indulging in diverse culinary delights. Music is another important part of my life, with techno and drum and bass providing the soundtrack to my adventures.
